Disaster in Haiti

Haiti was hit with a 7.0 Earthquake. The country was already poverty stricken and was just demolished by natural disasters. The presidential building which was said to be one of the strongest buildings in the city of Port a Prince crumbled to the ground. The bad part about it, is that there is now a tsunami watch over Haiti and most of the Caribbean islands. Many people were caught in and stuck under crumbling buildings missing the bottom half of their bodies. The death toll is up to about 25,000. President Obama has sent rescue teams to try to save the people that have been hurt badly and he is also sending food and water supplies that way. If you or your family knows anyone in Haiti you should contact 311 and ask for information on how you can locate people. My heart goes out to that country.

A moment of silence please......................
