Puerto Rican recording duo Wisin y Yandel's video "Abusadora" received a MTV Music Video nomination for 'Best Pop Video.' The popularity of the video isn't the surprise; "Abusadora" has hit the top spot on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs Chart while the album La Revolucion is already double platinum in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
What is surprising is that "Abusadora" is recorded in Spanish, which demonstrates the change and the progress in music, after the pop nod.
The MTV Music Video Awards will be telecast live from New York on Sept. 13, 2009.
